NEW YORK CITY: On Thursday January 14, 2010, the internationally renown, Grammy-nominated, Nonesuch recording artist, Brad Mehldau, performed an astounding solo piano concert at Manhattan's Highline Ballroom with all proceeds benefiting JazzReach's committed endeavors in arts education.

Attended by over 400 fans, the concert featured stunningly imaginative interpretations of repertoire from the songbooks of Neil Young, Stone Temple Pilots, Coldplay, The Beach Boys, Nirvana, Arthur Hamilton and Bobby Timmons just to name a few.

JazzReach would like to thank all those who attended and extend very special thanks to Brad and everyone who helped make the event possible: Steve Bensusan and everyone at Highline Ballroom, JazzReach’s Board of Directors, Vivian Chiu and everyone at Steinway Pianos, Bob Hurwitz and everyone at Nonesuch Records, Scott Southard, Tom Korkidis and everyone at International Music Network and Brad’s soundman, Duncan Aldrich (who flew in from L.A. just to be with us).
