JazzReach Successfully Debuts All New Globally-Themed Program "Big Drum / Small World" for Young People in New York City

NEW YORK CITY: Between December 15-17, 2009, JazzReach presented it's Fall 2009 Home Series for over 1500 New York City Public School Children at the Baruch College Performing Arts Center. The series featured a total of six performances of JazzReach's exciting all-new program, "Big Drum / Small World".

Lisa Cascio, a teacher from P.S. 16 in Queens said (in a glowing follow-up letter to JazzReach) that "Big Drum / Small World" was one of the best trips she's ever taken a class on! She also said that upon their return to school, her kids were excited to hear more and learn more about jazz! Ms. Cascio's letter was accompanied by dozens of warm hearted testimonial letters from her students with crayon illustrations.

Feedback like this is essential in so many ways. For one, it affirms that what we do is of value and makes an impact and secondly, in challenging economic times like these, it simply adds fuel to our fire and encourages us to keep doing what we're doing.
