Brecker Tribute Band

With thanks to the Blue Note jazz club, JazzReach presents successful three-night series of fundraisers celebrating the life and music of jazz great, Michael Brecker. All-star band convenes in support of JazzReach

NEW YORK CITY - Longtime JazzReach supporter, the Blue Note Jazz Club, hosted a three-night series of fundraising concerts for JazzReach which celebrated the life, legacy and music of the late, great saxophonist / composer, Michael Brecker. Members of Brecker’s touring band, Jeff “Tain” Watts, Joey Calderazzo and James Genus filled out the rhythm section and the Grammy-nominated, Blue Note Records recording artist, Ravi Coltrane, fronted the band on tenor saxophone. All proceeds from ticket sales directly benefited JazzReach’s committed national initiatives in arts education.
